Day Nine 30 Paintings in 30 Days

2015/01/img_2814.jpg

Got a bit tired of doing so much tight painting, so today I went back to my tried and true: wet into wet painting. Bigger paper, bigger brush, bigger piles of paint on my palette. Oh happy days. From my own, admittedly blurry, photo of an immature Little Blue Heron at Edwin B. Forsythe NWR. “Two Point Landing” approximately 10″ x 15″, $200. Think I’ll have to throw a few more of these into this challenge. If you get a chance, take a look at the hundreds of paintings submitted daily at Leslie Saeta’s blog. Some amazing stuff out there.
